Overview- This was a noticeably short story about the playwright George Bernard Shaw. He was a playwright and a critic. After reading Ms. Warrens Profession, Misalliance and Arms and the Man; I was captivated by his story telling and his humor in his writing. Made me want to look him up I stumbled upon this short biography which documents his upbringing where he is from and how he became a notable playwright.
Theme- Short explanation of George Bernard Shaw’s life
Biggest takeaway- none
Overall Satisfaction- 7/10- Effective for what it gave
Comments on the Author- More reading on who Shaw is would have to be examined but from his writings I gather he has a great sense of humor with a knack for carrying polite conversations into deeper issues which can prove to be uncomfortable. If I met him at a dinner party, I would assume he would be the one with a circle around him conducting the conversation and watching while others engage in increasingly meaningful conversation while he pulled the strings.
