Elijah Muhammad is the backbone for black consciousness moving the black man and woman minds to becoming the best of themselves. This man who barely passed the 4th grade became the creator of the biggest movement which enhances, reshapes and redesigns the mind of the black man so they can move and do for self and not rely on their oppressors for food, education and protection. The Nation of Islam is pinnacle for building a black centralized community.

Biggest takeaway
- The messages in this book are prompt change and create a devotion to self which is completely essential for the raising of the black people in America into a status worthy of who they are. Elijah Muhammad tells stories of the bible and the Quran and links them to how the black mind was enslaved and ways to unlock its true potential this is the most important book in my library to date.

- Elijah Muhammad has written many titles but none of those have had the impact this book has had on the black community. Nipsey Hussle told TI to read this book the slain rapper has become an icon in the ways of being his own man. Owning his masters to his music, owning his own clothing brand and being a great father and husband. These were the tenants put forth in this book and they last eternal for the black man in America. To be yourself and accept your own.
